"The NCAA sentenced UNC Greensboro’s athletics department to three years of probation and a $15,000 fine, among other punishments, after two former staff members placed sports wagers in violation of NCAA rules. The two former UNC Greensboro athletics staffers placed several bets, some of which included wagers on the university's men's basketball team, while on the school's staff, which violated NCAA rules, the organization announced Thursday."

Meanwhile there apparently still is nothing wrong with the North Carolina Tar Heel starting basketball player not going to a single class, or writing a single paper, or taking a single test and yet still finished the semester with a 4.0 average

Please don't alter the direct quote in my post. It's unethical and juvenile to do so. It falsely ascribes your words to my quoting. I hope you delete your post.

Sorry, I don’t get it. And what does fifty stand for?
fify = fixed it for ya

Usually it means the responder rewrote the text of the post. In this case, the post was a quote, which made it look like I deliberately misquoted the original. That's egregious, in my view.

Don't forget the Duke player who failed to pay for an enormous amount of jewelry.
And Zion ending up at Duke after allegedly offered money at Kansas. Plenty more... Arizona etc.

I'll be the first one here to post about NCAA's Notice of Allegations issued to Duke or Kansas or Arizona or whoever, unless someone beats me to it.
