Not much love from the national media, but that's fine by me. Flying under the radar definitely has its advantages.
I can't wait to see the fruits of the S&C gains that have been made since Ballou and Rhea came on board. Also, it's going to be great to have some key guys back - - on both sides of the ball - - who missed most or all of last season, and all four of the major-program transfers (Dawkins, Linder, Roof and Samuels) could be impact players.
A fast start will be key. I still like our chances at 4-1 in September, and 3-4 the rest of the way (7-5 overall). It all begins four weeks from today. Go Hoosiers!
Yes on fast start, etc. But IF IU line is really bigger, stronger and more effective, I think there is potential for surprises. IU has played MSU very well last 2 years. Iowa has proven beatable and that's homecoming this year. Like opportunity to beat MN on road, MD at home. Few breaks hear and there and outside chance at 8-4. But I won't get too far out ahead of my skis, for now I'm still going 7-5 and bowling!
