Tyler is a 6'2" 195lb WR from Brownsburg in the 2016 class. He is a 3 sport athlete that is a starter on the basketball team and already a state champion track athlete as part of the winning 4x400 team last year as a sophomore. Last season he had 50 catches for nearly 700 yards and 7 TDs, with his long for 74 yards coming against Pike.
Due to his multi-sports, he's not gotten as "much" attention as a football recruit because he doesn't do all the day camps, etc during the off-season due to other commitments...there's not a lot of 3 sport kids anymore!
He's headed up to Western Michigan today where there's a good chance he picks up his first offer. When that happens it's expected that a slew of MAC offers come next, and Ball State is very close to pulling the trigger as well.
With his size and top end speed most of the B1G is very interested, with IU, Iowa, and Rutgers showing the most interest at the moment but everyone checking in. Outside of the B1G, BC and UNC from the ACC have been very interested.
I fully expect that this will be one of those recruitments where he starts off early w MAC offers and then by the end of the summer he holds quite a few major offers.
I'm posting this here because IU has been on him first and been very intrigued, and it's a name to keep in mind for the Hoosiers in 2016.
