My uneducated opinion of the cooler.

You really don't get do you. The Dems hid Joe in his basement prior to the election. They now keep him on a short lease because they're afraid of what he might say. The Dems knew all along there was a serious problem. The people close to Joe also knew. They made a deal with the socialists within the party and put him up for President because they didn't have any other candidate who could defeat Trump. They didn't give a sh*t about his welfare. He was a just means to an end.
This not is about a guy who was just trying to live his life and is suddenly struck with Dementia. That person deserves our sympathy. This about a political party which put forward a candidate they knew was not competent in order to win election and advance their socialist agenda. No, I don't have any compassion for sympathy for Joe. I am much more concerned about what "his" or Kamala's administration is will do to our country.
Again, you post more stuff you don't know firsthand and can't prove:

-- "hid Joe in his basement"
-- "They now keep him on a short lease"
-- "they're afraid of what he might say."
-- "The Dems knew all along there was a serious problem."
-- "The people close to Joe also knew."
-- "They made a deal with the socialists."
-- "they didn't have any other candidate who could defeat Trump."
-- "They didn't give a sh*t about his welfare."

Your idea that someone made Biden run for office when he didn't want to is silly. Biden's been running for office his whole life. He campaigned publicly and everybody saw him. Biden didn't put himself in the hospital -- that was the other candidate, you know, the overweight weak one.

Can you enlighten us with any other conspiracy theories?

Maybe someone watched the Manchurian Candidate one too many times.

the non stop bickering isn't the result, it's the whole objective.
I think with a lot of the people that is true. There are some that troll but in reality a lot of posters say things just to get a reaction rather than adding to the discussion.

Hm . . .

Isn't saying things to get a reaction furthering the discussion? If not what’s the difference?

The whole concept of “internet troll” is probably the stupidest thing anyone has come up with. (Is that a troll?). There are several posters who will post only snarkey reactions to other posts. Seldom if ever do such posters post thoughtful content or attempt to start interesting threads. These are often the same who complain about trolling.

Biden is POTUS, Trump isn’t. That is an important difference

Yes but trump is still puppeteering the gop party.

Plus when people that defended trump's sexual assault, collusion with russia, bullying on social media etc, it is fair game to point out their hypocrisy when attacking biden who has done none of those things. So in absence of any crimes or bad behavior, they come up with something unproveable, dementia

Trump remains the most influential and most important person in his party. And no one obsesses about him more than his legion of cult followers. He continues to be revered by millions of devotees who seem unable to move on. I'm seeing an increasing number of "MAGA Forever" stickers on cars, and I've already driven past a few locally organized - - and well attended - - "Trump 2024" rallies not far from where I live.

I think it's unlikely he ends up the 2024 nominee, but he's not going away anytime soon. In addition, he's the subject of criminal investigations in multiple jurisdictions. Accordingly, it's not realistic to think or expect that Dems (or anyone else, for that matter) are going to stop talking about him.

Misses the point. He’s not president. He won’t be president. He wasn’t invited to the event in TX for hopefuls. I linked a poll yesterday that more republicans support the gop today than trump evidencing his fading presence. His big interview this past week got worse ratings than a rerun of chopped. And the lion’s share of posts that invoke trump on this board are used as a retaliatory yabbut wholly devoid of substance. The trump obsession on this board is carried by the left not the right. Trump is rarely invoked to elicit discussion, but rather as a product of lingering hate.

Trump posts and Biden posts are usually just hit jobs intended to provoke a fight. They do nothing for the board. This is true for posts re the extreme lunatics in Congress that garner all the attention as well. That’s the point - trying to make the board a better place.

I think you both are missing the big picture. There is a strong undercurrent of opposition to the Biden/Harris/Pelosi/Schumer cabal. Millions of people are disturbed with their cram-down wasteful spending, their destruction of the energy sector, their singular focus on racism and CRT in education and elsewhere, the continuing COVID bleakness, and more. instead of defending their positions the Democrats attempt to marginalize and dismiss the opposition by talking about insurrection, cults, and Trumpists. I don’t doubt Trump has a strong following because among other things he showed we can have more jobs, higher wages, and more labor participation with a singular focus on jobs. But the moving cause isn’t Trump no matter how much you would like to defend the Democratic agenda by yelling TRUMP!

I love your use of "conspiracy theories" and naivety. It's a term of art for the left. Whenever they want to fabricate (the Russia Collusion story) or attack a news story (Wuhan Virus) they label it with "conspiracy". It would be interesting to know who is actually running the White House. Clearly not, "I'm not supposed to take questions", Joe.

I have no intent of trying to enlighten you. That is not possible. You are the exactly the person the left is depending on to push their agenda. Look up what the mastermind behind Obama Care said about the American People. It is disturbing but, undeniably true. The American populous as a whole is very gullible, and at times dimwitted, but somebody, "needs to look behind the curtain" before its too late.

Isn't saying things to get a reaction furthering the discussion? If not what’s the difference?
Not to me.. A lot of people don't write stuff to further the discussion they just write something that gets they thread off on a tangent that has nothing to do with the original thread. They'll throw something about Trump in because they know someone will react and reply and then the thread goes to pot.

There are, in my opinion, way too many that want to criticize President X for something because he's not in their party, but don't want any mention of President Y doing the same because he's in their party. For example, if someone points out a Biden lie it doesn't bother me if someone counters with pointing out that Trump and all presidents lied.

You don't seem to get this is the substandard level of posting that makes this board suck, as discussed on this thread.

Why don't you actually post a critique of an actual policy you are so concerned with.... and do so without discussing the mental condition of the POTUS. Can you even do it? It might actually create an interesting debate.

Or are you just obsessed with personalities?

Hilarious......how's that "national treasure" Maddow doing??? Talk about marching orders........duplicitous much.......
Rachel has been off since Wednesday. I've been rudderless for going on four days now. You, on the other hand...

I see you got your Fox marching orders this morning. Good little sheep.
“Fox Marching orders”? “Good little Sheep”? In a thread about stupid posts and posters? You just sunk trailer-park punditry to irreversible depths. .

Oh, Kamala is tone deaf.

I've noticed that the "national treasure" Maddow has stopped calling Trump a Russian agent, now that Biden foreign policy vis-a-vis Putin and Russia makes ole Slo-Mo Joe look like the Gimp from Pulp Fiction.

How's that ball gag for ya Joe? I'm sure AOC and the rest of the Squad would like for that to remain in permanently.

And yes, if Rachel Maddow is your political Northstar, so to speak, you are rudderless my friend.....
