Where did the attitude that everyone in government is worthless and nothing they do is worthwhile come from? It's certainly a thing with many, including Musk and his team of clowns.

We track aid to Ukraine so that we can disprove the nonsense claims of the pro-Russia/anti-Ukraine crowd that we've provided three to four times as much as we actually have and that Zelenskyy has pocketed most of it. Seriously, there is much more that they do which is very important. You just have to get past the everyone is worthless and nothing is worthwhile mindset.

There is no "attitude". It's more about how we don't know the facts. And you and I can't have a reasonable conversation as you obviously are not a reasonable person on this topic when you resort to calling DOGE and Musk "clowns".

Ah. You missed the reason for this whole back and forth. It stems from post 590 - 592 and a tech "SWAT" team that resigned. Some of it's listed accomplishment was the Afghan withdrawal and tracking Ukraine aid.

Oh ok. Not sure. I'll just say that DOD is a very complex organization that requires a lot of institutional knowledge. It's not really a plug and play model of replacing people

Disaster aid should be part of the appropriations process….

Bessent was right. Musk may know how to market electric cars and be smart enough to throw money behind the right rocket scientists, but he sucked at the DOGE stuff.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-six percent (46%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 37% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2. (see trends)

Since bowlmania is so into poll numbers I am sure he will love this one. His boy David Hogg is just a machine.

That would be awesome. If they keep tariffs at 10% and you add in DOGE cuts they should be able make significant cuts to income taxes. You'll also see a lot of people's opinions change on tariffs and DOGE.
