Montverde coach leaving for a job in Ohio

I forget the name of the school he's going to and even where in Ohio, but I heard this on SIRIUS on Wednesday or Thursday. Will put a different school on the map in terms of where to get major recruits and it will be interesting if Montverde can maintain their program at or even near the level they've been.

And Boyle does have that pipeline to all the major colleges....
I was a little surprised he's 64..I've seen interviews with him..He looks and acts much younger..

Its because MV doesnt offer NIL. The school in ohio has a good NIL program already started. Smart coach getting ahead of it before it becomes an issue with recruiting kids!

He is taking the job at Spire Academy, just east of Cleveland. He has a history of coaching in cold weather climates, he was at St Patricks in NJ before going to Montverde and he did pretty well there as well

People forget in some states it’s legal for high school kids to get NIL. Quinn Ewers is an example.

The Southlake product also acknowledged he chose Ohio State in part because Texasstate laws prevented high school players from cashing in on name, image and likeness deals.

Exactly right! The article i read stated that was the biggest reason he was leaving MV

Not to be a stickler, but it is near the lake and west of Pittsburgh (making it more north than west).

Maybe just east of Cleveland is a better description? 🙂

Yea, fixed it--about mid way between Cleveland and Erie
