Mitchell Paige

Mitch would make a damn good possession receiver for somebody. Frigging Irsay should look some of these Indiana kids like Mitch and presumably Luke Timian up!!

You want the Colts to sign players who nobody else in the NFL wants just because they played at IU. I am glad that Donnie Walsh of the Pacers did not think like you because we would have had Steve Alford instead of Reggie Miller.

Had the Pacers taken Alford I would have paid attention to them.

Always cracks me up when fan boys call out professional owners or coaches for not adding an IU player, yet criticize Fred Glass up one side and down the other for being a fan boy! Nothing wrong with being a fan boy/super fan with IU colored glasses though.

Over Reggie Miller???

Yes. What you are missing here is my level of interest in the NBA. Had #12 been on the bench not playing Inwould have had more interest than Indid when fReggie was playing, I have some interest now...

I can understand personal interest...but it youmight have found it hard to keep following as they lost game after game without Miller. Reggie is the most exciting player to play in Indy in any sport in the last 30 years. Manning was next, but boombaby was in a category by himself. Alford stumbled, farted, and fell down on his way out of the league. Nuff said...

Don't confuse interest with following ( in my case). I watched parts of 5 regular season Vic games this season and most of the Vic playoff games until they lost. Never saw another second of play.

Had #12 been on the bench back when, I would have checked the box scores in the Star....which was still delivered to my home back then. If I saw 20 minutes of Miller's career I would be surprised. I think he pushed off and got open 36 times in that 20 minutes.

I have watched a bit of Yogi's play. Like watching him...and his Mom (yum).

Reggie is the player that made it fun to watch the Pacers. There was a time with Granger, George and anyone else that was supposed to be the stars that did not keep people, like me, following them.

I like the current group led by VO. They played hard like they had something to prove. I hope they continue to play that way.
