Minnesota Game (links) is on BTN

Houston on third now. He was walked, advanced to second on a wild pitch then stole third.

Butler stole second, then a double for Lloyd scores two.

Big play for IU. Hoosiers lead 4-1, top of fifth.

Top 5th: Fineman grounds out to 1st. Houston walks, then advances to second on a wild pitch during Butler's at-bat. Houston then steals third. Butler walks, then steals second. Lloyd hits a 2-RBI double to the left center gap to score Houston and Butler. Sowers strikes out looking. Dedelow pops out to shortstop.

Indiana 4, Minnesota 1 heading into B5.

Just the fifth home run Stiever has surrendered this season. Tough break for the sophomore. IU pitching coach Kyle Bunn has a quick meeting with Stiever on the mound, then heads back to the dugout.

Bottom 5th: Boxwell flies out to left. McDevitt grounds out to the pitcher. Pettersen singles to right. Kozicky hits a 2-run homer to left center. Vavra walks, but then gets picked off at first.

Indiana 4, Minnesota 3 heading into T6.

IU with a great play at first gets the third out of the inning.

Still, Hoosiers up just one now going to top of sixth.

Gorski gets to first on a bunt - throwing error on Minnesota.

Runners on first and second with no outs.

Krupa sacrifice bunts, advances IU runners to second and third.

Just one out. Good spot to be in for the Hoosiers.

Top 6th: Miller singles to left. Gorski lays down what's supposed to be a sac-bunt, but an error allows him to reach first safely. Krupa's sac-bunt advances Miller to third and Gorski to second.

Pitching change for Minnesota: Junior righty Fred Manke replaces Gilbreath.

With Manke on the mound, Fineman hits a sac-fly to score Miller. However, the run gets taken off the scoreboard because Miller took off too early according to the third base umpire.

Still 4-3 Hoosiers heading into B6.

Pop fly to the outfield. Luke Miller would have been safe at home, but umpires said he left third early.

So it's still 4-3. Frustrating for IU.

He did not leave early on that. He moved before he caught it but he was pushing off the bag. And that freeze frame proves it, you can tell his right foot has not moved off the bag, even though you can't see the bag (his leg did not come off). They were tricked becuase of his movement. And if it's that close, you can't call him out for leaving early. Bad call.

Great catch by Dedelow to get the second out, but Minnesota still scores. Still, heck of a play.

Yeah it was reallllllly close. I'm inclined to agree with you, it should have been egregious to make that call.

Bottom 6th: Coffey doubles to right. Toby Hanson grounds out to shortstop, advancing Coffey to third.

Pitching change for IU: Herrin replaces Stiever.

With Herrin on the mound, Stemper's sac-fly to center scores Coffey. Smith singles to the right side. Boxwell out at first.

Indiana 4, Minnesota 4 heading into T7.

Replay sure looked like he left early - that run could really cost us.
No it didn't, that's what assured me. You did not look at his right leg. Doesn't matter if his upper body moves before he caught it. His foot did not come off.
