Don't worry about that. Your link to the NPR story is better than my link in the other thread. The NPR story has a link in its second paragraph (labeled as "scathing decision") to the Court's entire 100+ page opinion.

I can't believe lawyers thought they could get away with the tactics the judge described. Easy to see why the defendants asked the court to award them attorney fees.

Their bizarre conduct and in court and out of court statements certainly suggests neither should be any where close to clients or courts. Wood has documented mental health issues, don’t know what drove Powell to where she went. Good that the legal profession can weed out its nut jobs and discipline those who deceive and are incompetent in their duties. Wish we could do the same with politicians.

She got especially annoyed because they lied in front of her. But plenty of Trump appointees have basically said the same thing about the claims Rudy, Wood, and Sydney have made...

One of my favorite parts of the opinion:

"Plaintiffs’ lawyers argue that no attorney can be sanctioned whose name appeared only in typewritten form; that no attorney besides Plaintiffs’ local counsel has appeared or signed a document filed in this matter; and that the Court lacks jurisdiction to sanction any attorney who did not personally appear or sign a document filed in this matter. Yet, the local attorneys assert that, although they signed the filings, they did not prepare them and thus should not be responsible for them. As such, no attorney wants to take responsibility now that sanctions are sought for filing this lawsuit."
