Was he injured yesterday . He started out on fire , then got some fouls, and sat to finish the 1st half . I was listening , and not watching , but remembered hearing he got called for a charge taking away a basket . He went out at that point , and I never heard his name again .

One would think one of these special ed reporters allowed into the post game press conference with CMW would have posed the same question, yet they did not.
I wasn’t questioning coaching , I was wondering if he was injured. It just seemed strange that it sounded like he never returned . We were down 2 starters entering the game , and if he is injured we could be down three for Nebraska , and ya I know we won .

Someone Tweeted that he had an ice pack on his knee. I saw him cheering at the end of the game. He might have some soreness that he was addressing. My wife was going nuts about him not being in the game. I pointed out that the lineup that was in the game was doing a pretty good job scoring and KSU had started missing shots.
If MM has some soreness, letting him rest without putting the game in jeopardy is the smart move with 18+ games to go. Or maybe he wasn't feeling well. We could be down more than Ware against Nebraska.
Special Ed is bad to say now? My daughter is a teacher and she calls the person that assists with the challenged students as the Special Ed teacher. I believe that is also what they call the college major for those teaching disabled children.
I am the Director of a protected workshop for people with a variety of disabilities. Our placement person uses the term "M.R.". I guess it isn't offensive when you use the initials?

So let me get this straight...ALL kids are special now...everyone receives a trophy whether one just did something really special or not. "Special Ed" (as we once knew of it) isn't inclusive enough. Everyone's education is special, whether its lessons learned in a controlled school environment or becoming street-wise in the back alley's of a more urban setting. There shall be no child left behind, even if it means holding the others back until everyone "get's it".
I team taught with the resource teacher in my middle school social studies class the last 6 years that I taught . I still say that she was the best teacher in our school , as she got more out of her kids than any teacher I knew . We had mixed classes as her kids were main streamed in regular classes . We didn’t hold back the other students , as I taught at my normal pace . Her job was to keep her students up to pace , and help them if they were struggling. We included them in every activity in class ,and we expected them to be responsible and do what everyone else was doing . We had some really low kids , but they kept up and became much more responsible as the year went on . They knew what we expected, and they really tried to do it . I felt that teaching the students to be responsible was the most important thing they could learn . Were these students all going to graduate , and go to college , No , but could they graduate and get a job and be productive members of society, yes . If you hold kids to a standard, they can learn , and be successful.
