Well, I suppose you can take comfort in the fact that McCaskill won't be shooting the messenger...heh.

No, you missed the point. The point is there is electronic proof - some in her voice and some in a staffers voice - that she will vote for gun control that the majority of her constituents oppose so she has to avoid telling them the truth. She know it will hurt her politically - perhaps cause her defeat. Ooops! There's a tape of her saying that and its being advertised all over Missouri in a close race where she, the incumbent was slightly behind. Let's see if it hurts her and how much. She did not say she'd vote for them after they have 60 votes. She said she'd vote for them after she is elected and the Dems are in the majority in the Senate. She might not get either wish.
Doesn't matter to me but it does to her and to her campaign staff. They do not want a word from her on the issue. If she says publicly what she thought she was hiding from the voters she knows it would hurt her.
So give her a call. Maybe you know more about the wisdom of trying to hide the truth than she and her gang do.
She's already on the record voting for the same things she mentioned! Its not a secret to anyone!
