I don't think we have enough depth to be playing the second fastest pace in the country

I don't think conditioning had anything to do with the outcome Saturday. It was a total clusterf&$! in the fourth quarter. The play calling was atrocious; the defensive scheme was a trainwreck; the long snapper gagged and then the punter didn't have the sense to fall on the ball; our senior quarterback threw two senseless picks, our corners are still too stupid to keep plays in front of them with a lead. You name it,, we did it. This one was all mental meltdown - on the field, on the sideline, and in the pressbox.

Very well said in all respects.

But like the op said this wasn't our first time having fourth quarter issues

When people get fatigued they get tired mentally as well. Maybe that's why our dbs were unable to keep their man in front of him. Maybe fatigue was the reason Nate underthrew on one int and threw behind the receiver on the other

I'm not saying we are definitely fatigued but I keep hearing how we lack depth but we run more plays than almost every team in the country. That doesn't seem like a good combination

I think we played not to lose - afraid of making mistakes - instead of playing to win. It's a completely different mindset that keeps players andcoaches from being aggressive, and doing what they normally do. Hence Nate's 2 under throws, Johns' constant Redding to the middle run calls, and the like.

I was wondering about conditioning. That would explain a lot. I thought I heard CKW say they don't scrimmage live during the week
