That’s something I do love about Tom Allen, he makes stuff like this important to the team and the program. I’m for that!
I wish Marty Clark the best as he has given IUFB his best. Cancer is a bad diagnosis but especially brain cancer and I pray he gets healing powers from all the prayers coming his way.
What a wonderful story. I’d never heard about this before, but I’ll certainly keep Marty and his family in my prayers. Great recognition by CTA.
Do these stories make it to the local newspapers? Particularly when there is essentially a news blackout about Indiana football. Same about players getting involved with building houses during the summer.
In coach Allen's press conference today he said that he had no idea about Marty Clark being behind the "I" being handed out to players and staff after victories over Purdue.
If these types of stories are not being promoted in the press the only thing one's going to hear, other than recruiting, is when a player does some things significantly wrong.
I hope the positive stories are getting out there.
