That’s my point. A bunch of guys from Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio aren’t beating guys from England, Germany, and Brazil. Lol.
They do tho. It’s a weird deal. Any season there can be a Marshall. It’s just luck with the foreign crop you happen to pull. There are about ten programs that get the top Americans. Iu, smu, Duke Clemson unc (about half the acc) UCLA and a random flavor of the month like Akron or creighton. Then there are about 50 programs that are very serious about winning and since they missed out on the parade all Americans they go the foreign route. These guys are a little older, a little desperate bc they crapped out in their academy overseas and are here as their last chance u. They are rejects. Now they can still be damn good and far better than the avg American but they are still hit and miss.
The F’d up thing are all these youth clubs charging $7500 a year filling little Joey from Springfield mo with the hopes of a D 1 scholly when unbeknownst to mom and dad there’s only 9.9 schollys and MO STATE went all foreign. They aren’t even looking at kids from Rush or Sporting etc
And Munie misses the wide open header from 2 feet in front of the goal that would have won it.
I agree. They can never beat teams with a bunch of internationals.

you know it's crazy but it's in D2 and naia too. naia always had a lot of internationals but never like it is now
