I knew this was coming from a "fan". Just knew it.
It's OK to separate a bad performance in the tourney from a very good regular season record. It doesn't mean the team was overrated. It means they had a bad game. It happens.
Marquette didn't play defense against IU. They had a decent season but ultimately they were not a good defensive team.
Louisville was solid. Minnesota is also solid. The Big Ten is fricking tough and that goes top to bottom in the league.
