At the start of the season, I didn't know if this site was going to have someone like Matt Byrne covering the games and when it appeared they weren't, I kind of jumped in there to help keep the conversation alive on this forum on what was happening with the games and with the program, although I'm like most everyone on here and I am looking into the program from the outside. As I pointed out in a post a while back, I'm just a fan of the game and I know there are people on here that probably have a better background with the game and know the intricacies of it more than I do, and can provide better insight into the specific problems we had this year, but I do my best with what general knowledge I have. It will be interesting to see some of the postmortem reports on how this season evolved although it is clear to everyone from a very general perspective that pitching was the main culprit as we had our first losing season since 2007.
