Luke Brown in the transfer portal

I meanā€¦who saw this sh!t coming? Maybe he will go for the standard PU offer. A backscratcher, yardstick and balloons?

Have to wonder if Kentucky will come knocking on his door? (Brown from downtown) and Lucy goes wild. (NOW NOW) I know better, I shouldn't harass Lucy like that.

(Side Note) I do wish the kid well.

That's funny. I am sure Calipari would love to bring in a 2 star guard. Greatest 2 star guard in history. He has that going for him.

First and foremost...he needs to do what he feels is best for him.

Having said that, he should probably start looking at really good D2/D3/NAIA programs where he can go, have fun, and be a stud. He's just not mid/high major D1 material at this point.

Nothing has been mentioned in the Muncie paper or his Twitter account.

Get this kid to bloomington and it will be raining three from way downtown. Think priller only shorter. Raining 35 foot threes all game long

Donā€™t you all understand! Heā€™s the next more improved Damon Bailey! Sign him to the next big NIL deal!!!! šŸ¤¦šŸ»

Thatā€™s exactly what happened.

Funny thing about this is that I specifically remember YOU saying that IU should be recruiting him. What a flippin joke
I probably said that when we had 3 pt shooting which was not sufficient. LoL And then again maybe I was joking. One of the things I remembered saying about Luke was he made me oo and ah like Steph Curry does in the NBA. The kid really was exciting in high school. I hope he lands in a spot where he can get an education and have some fun playing basketball.

I'd still take him as a walk-on. He still has some potential, but he was in a bad situation with the mid-season transfer. Give him a few years and he could still become a valuable role player for a D1 school, but not worth a scholarship for a major conference team right now. But I am a little surprised he didn't want to stay and learn under a guy like Michael Lewis, who made the most out of his talent for an undersized, unathletic guard.

Iā€™m not sure it was his choice. Indications are it wasnā€™t.

Over/ under on Mr. Brown hitting 6 different schools before he graduates.
The legend will only grow bigger at each school he attends. He is the biggest Indiana legend most of us have never seen play but I remember hearing we need to take him you cannot teach three point shooting!

I just remember a few posters on hear and btown banners drooling over hm and saying we needed to take him because you cannot teach his three point shooting. It was probably the same poster using multiple accounts! My guess is he would got up for three point shots and get swatted away from a 6'5 athletic guard in two seconds in the big ten.

I would guess Lewis told him he didn't think he would play, that he "didn't fit into the system he was going to implement" or somethhing to that effect.

Brown needs to be at Indiana Wesleyan where he's belonged all along. Greg Tonegal has one of the best basketball minds around. Still enough time to salvage a respectable collegiate career.
