.....in two years. Where is the so called 5 year rebuild. LSU was 2-16 in the conference in 2017, they are now 10-1 after winning at Rupp. Excuses, excuses, excuses.

This is the same LSU team that has been to the NCAA one time since 2010 and lost in 1st round, the same LSU that in 2017 lost 17/18 SEC games, the same LSU team that’s never had a “culture” that is leading the SEC with a new coach in his 2nd year. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Fred!

You're trying to compare their roster to ours? Are you really that ignorant?

Wade has been able to actually assemble a roster of "his" guys. And - better yet - all the mainstays have been healthy. Skylar Mays is the one player from 2 years ago that plays any significant time. They have 5 Top 60 players from the RSCI ranking the past two years.

Archie took over, he had 3 recruits already committed and signed to the program. And had no seniors with eligibility running out. He's had one class truly his, and has to be careful with a APR left by his predecessor. LSU was able to pick up Tremont Waters after his release from Georgetown - you think Archie wouldn't have been interested if space allowed?

At least try to inform yourself better before spewing all your verbal diarrhea . . .

It’s LSU dude.....That’s like IU football doing well and LSU football sucking and LSU fans saying IU has better players!!! Wow.....If only we can recruit like LSU!!

That’s not going anywhere as the NCAA is more corrupt.

What's your point....Wade was on a wire tap tape talking to Dawkins about "getting you what you need" for a recruit.

You think LSU goes from a total zero program to 5 top 60 guys at a flip of a switch? How dense are you?

That's the direction you want to go? Since you have absolutely zero connection to Indiana University other than a demand for free entertainment, I guess continue on being a giant gasbag

Yea it’s possible. You are taking the typical IU excuse that teams that win big cheat. Maybe it’s true.

2018 - LSU

Naz Reid - 18
Emmitt Williams - 26
Ja'vonte Smart - 33
Darius Days - 59

2017 - LSU
Tremont Waters - 38

2018 - INDIANA
Romeo Langford - 5
Jerome Hunter - 57 (Injured)

2017 - INDIANA
Justin Smith - 87

2016 - INDIANA
De'Ron Davis - 40

Here are Davis' stats. Up to the Michigan St game, he'd played a TOTAL of 15 minutes in 2019. He's just now getting back to being close to 100% after the Achilles injury from last January. Think having him healthy, having Race and Justin both available ALL year might have been a benefit? So we got Romeo and Smith - and Smith with his attitiude is one of the biggest problems this team has.

And football? Your ANALogy was nothing but anal. LSU has had recruiting classes in the top 10 in the nation nearly every year, several in the top 5. But it's easier to spew nonsense than to try to make a legitimate argument, isn't it?

"Yeah - let's just clean house and buy our way to success!!"

Even IF Archie wanted to do things that way, he couldn't. First is the afore-mentioned APR situation Crean left behind. And let's not forget the "student Bill of Rights" that Glass put in place because of how Crean operated.

People need to read the book The Legends Club by Feinstein. Listen to how the Iron Dukes were about to go after Tom Butters for keeping K - then losing it when Butters gave K an extension in 1984 in the midst of a losing streak in ACC play.

Funny part? Those same people who were bitching at Butters in '84 were begging him to NOT let K get away in 2004 when the Lakers were trying to hire him away. Butters had the signed letters from 20 years before; it was like people forgot all about then.

Will Archie be the answer? Let's give him the chance to get his own damn players and build his system his way. We'll know in 2 years whether it's gonna work or not.

Well there have already been a handful of people that think we should hire Pitino.

You seem to like ANALogy a lot.

wade got his money’s worth last night. We were awful. He’s a good coach, but obviously doing something shady. He’s got a few studs on that team that are all Americans. He’s definitely dirty in some way.

Waters is a lot of fun to watch, that's for sure.

Your guys offense stalled out like crazy in that 2nd half. Weren't running much of anything other than high ball screens.

Yeah, stall ball sucks. Cal should of never let him go the full court with 6 seconds. That sure looked like goal tending. We should of won that game, but crapped the bed. No excuse

If we are paying for recruits, we are doing a piss poor job at identifying good ones. If you really want to go back to 1989 with the Chris mills garbage that’s a completely different coach and time. Since cal has been at Kentucky, his name hasn’t been brought up in any scandals or looked at as dirty.

U guys suck. You had the most racist coach in the history of basketball and u cheat your ass off too.

Not disagreeing, but w Big Brother Sean at Arizona, and Cousin Cal...and Romeo falling into our laps at UL and Kansas troubles...do you feel 100% confident in Archie?

I have no reason to think anything other than clean...but ‘birds of a feather’

Lol ok, another history major. Who told you rupp was racist? Hollywood, or something you saw on tv? He coached kids at the high school level that were black. He recruited many black players including the likes of Wes Unseld, who decided to play for Louisville. He wasn’t racist. Believe what you want, but it’s not true. He was a victim of his time. Unfortunately, the first black player he got wasn’t any good. Until there is evidence, that he was indeed racist, there is nothing that says he was.

As for the suck comment. LOL

The cheating LOL, if we are we’re doing it wrong. We could afford the top 5 if that were so

Good lord man really?

First off you're a Nike school, not Adidas.

Second off you've gotten more one and dones, and by a wide margin, than anyone since the rule was in place.

Thirdly the asking price has been established as what...$100 to $150k?

You really think every single one of your one and dones (cough Anthony Davis) are turning down that cash to go miles away from home to play at a school in the middle of nowhere for free?

Really?

I guess K is just a more desirable coach than Cal out of nowhere, coincidentally ever since Jeff Capel became their lead recruiter (who left Oklahoma with sanctions from recruiting violations).

wouldn't be a single clean coach in college basketball if you play out this totally f****** stupid association game.

9 losses in 10 games -- and nothing else -- and he's *maybe* a cheater now...we get it

Oh, I agree puke is dirty. As for Davis, it was 250k. We need to come up with that cash for the top player every year. Kids today want to try and win a championship for their one yr. Playing with a bunch of scrubs wears you down. Sure we get a ton of supposed oad players. The problem is a lot of them aren’t truly oad, but because the model cal has in place, they feel they are oad. I would like nothing more than to see it come to an end. I would like to have multi year players. Until proven otherwise, cal isn’t doing anything dirty. He doesn’t have to at ky, the brand sells its self, he just reels them in. The same can be said for Indiana. Once Archie get you back to your rightful place, kids will be begging to be recruited by Indiana, especially in state talent which you have a ton of

Like I said, you think K is dirty when he does the same thing Cal has done...but Cal is innocent (even with the two vacated final fours from using illegal players like, out of nowhere top 5 one and done Derrick Rose from one of the most corrupt recruiting spots in the country, Chicago. Maybe he was a huge Elvis fan and wanted to hang out at Graceland I guess).

Yup, nothing funny about Saint Cal.

Again c'mon, at least admit you don't give a F about paying for players.

Hell we probably paid for Romeo. Crean established some funky pipelines in his day (ahope and then Boo Williams).

Very much correct. And to extend that, RSCI comparison, Michigan and Maryland have 6 in the top 100, while MSU has 8. But LSU has 5 guys in the top 60, which is possibly better than any Big Ten team from a talent perspective.

They are young though, and certainly they get credit for the job they have done. But let's be real, LSU has a really talented team.

UK has slowly declined since the undefeated season and then loss to a much less talented and better coached team in Wisconsin. I think recruits saw something in that game and are not lining up to go to UK anymore.
