Update: Man arrested after pointing gun at St. Matthews officers
https://www.wdrb.com/news/update-ma...cle_48379ad0-9e0b-11ec-a52f-4f2d2470fa67.html

First story report was “cops received call about suspicious car - one cop approaches - sees person in car - calls for back up - knocks on car window - pistol raised by occupant - shots fired - nobody hurt”

Above is the second story - cops see car - 2 approach - knock on car window - occupant raises pistol - shots fired - nobody hurt.”

Questions:

Did he know they were cops?
How and why can they approach WITHOUT him knowing?

Why does a guy raise his gun at cops? Suicide by cop?
How do they miss?

FUI - this isn’t a crime area. It’s St. Matthews - across a creek from a huge hospital and medical complex, and across the street from a middle and upper-middle neighborhood with higher-end apartments/condos and homes.

Are you OK?

I’m actually not getting the gist of your concern. Are you wondering about crazies or what?

I'm wondering why a car parked in a park at 3:30 am requires a cop to risk his/her life.

I'm wondering why 2 cops can't approach a car without the occupant pulling a pistol.

I'm wondering how shots fired at the close range all miss.

I'm wondering why the story changed.

And now I'm wondering why you can't understand what I wrote about wondering.

Not even close to OK.

I'm on hold with 3 businesses who are experiencing higher-than-normal business volume.

Does ANYBODY in this country do what they are supposed to do when they are supposed to do it anymore?
No. It's all a mess. And now companies that are just shitty can avail themselves of a host of current excuses. Thankfully....

I do, or the wife gets on me.

B/c it was "suspicious" to someone. Probably some old lady staring out a window. Who knows

Ask these two:

Thanks.

All I can say is I don’t go out at night anymore.

I feel you. I was on hold for 45 minutes to cancel my cruise that had an itinerary change to avoid St. Petersberg.

I've been trying to get through to a CVS pharmacy for 2 days. Their non ending BS on their phone system is MUCH longer than my patience. 🤬🤬🤬🤬
Yep, CVS automated system is the worst. Endless circles. Easier to just drive the 10 minutes there and talk to a real person.

...upper-middle neighborhood with higher-end apartments/condos and homes.
I thought we were talking Louisville. Higher end? It's been a while since I drove through, but it always seemed to me like a big ole trailer park, with some of the trailers made to look like they were homes.

They'd shoot you before you ever got out of the White Trash 'hoods, much less near the Old Money. Those who know ain't talking, and those who are talking don't know.

Louisville is a dumpster fire, I live in Jeffersonville and tell my wife and kids not to cross the bridge unless its an emergency. lol

I'm surprised the city is still standing after the cop in the Taylor shooting was acquitted. BLM did just bail out the guy who tried to assassinate the guy running for office so I know they are still around or at least in the vicinity.
Can't say I feel for Louisville much, they have made their own bed by voting for fools to run the city for years. I just wish they would make their damn University and it athletic department pay for their cheating ways its been over 2 years now.

I’m sure St. Matthew’s is glad they didn’t merge with Louisville years ago, and kept their own police department.

Louisville and Jefferson county are a patchwork of contrasts for sure … lot’s of incorporated subdivisions in Jefferson county to avoid annexation into Louisville, and city property taxes.

I used to live in hikes point. Moved back to Indy in 03-04. Anyways we had a cheer event there a couple months back and stayed at the Galt house. While grabbing dinner our waitress (black in her 40's with kids) said she won't recommend Bardstown road to anyone anymore. I'm like what???? She said robberies every night in the highlands and thugs roam at night. She also said after Brianna, all the cops quit. That used to be one of the coolest hangouts ever.

What a mess

I will say in one of the riot videos...those on the left prolly never saw it, those on the right may recall. During a riot video (Louisville) I remember about a half a dozen black dudes in front of a bearnos pizza defending a white cop. Had they not have been there this cop would have been beaten alive.

Edit: found the link
