Long Suffering Fan Base.

Set their football program back 50 years! I hope they quit the game of football at the varsity level. One question for the board and I hate to advise pukes. Why not hire coach Wilson as their offensive coordinator? He's available.

If someone had told me in August that IU would be 10-1 going into the Bucket game, I’d have told them to put down the pipe because mixing LSD with crack cocaine is a lethal combination.
I told my friend last summer, definitely 8 wins and possibly 10. I thought our new coach was better than all the other 1st year coaches on the schedule. The 3 non conference were a lock for 3 wins. I thought the only two B1G that might beat us were OSU and scUM.

Crush the boilers, see them driven before us, and hear the lamentations of their women.
Dude, most of their women should be on Broadway as stars in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, obviously as Quasimodo. Their laminations would just basically be a series of grunts and moans. The gene pool in W. Laffy is pretty much a tap root.

If they hired Wilson, He would drink Tippecanoe County dry within the first week.
He’d also run his patented 3 rapid fire plays and a punt while using 43 seconds of clock over and over until the defensive coordinator cold cocked him in the middle of a game. He’s never really understood the team concept of football and it’s bitten him in the ass.

Tulsa fired Wilson after only 2 years!? What did they expect him to do in that short time period?
Show an understanding that defense is part of the game?

But yeah, you hire a guy, normally you give him some time. But that league recently fired several coaches using really short leashes. Not sure what level they expect. "With the portal we should turn around in one or two years!"

I don't keep up with Tulsa football but checked their scores; that appears to have been the problem.

I want 56-0

I want to see us break a hundred, but even better, I want to see our D hold them scoreless with negative total yards...

108 to nothing is my preferred score... That would be 15 TD's plus 1 FG (a 55 yarder as time expires)... That's what I consider leaving no doubt...😉🍺

Run the ball down their throats, don't give their Offense even a punchers chance, and give our back ups a chance to shine midway thru the 4th...

Yep, even with the portal and NIL, there is no way in hell you could take, say, a 3-9 team and go 11-1 the next year.
I mean, that's crazy talk!

I was flat wrong when I predicted about seven weeks ago that IU would come out of their last six games with only three wins. This team is far better than I ever hoped an IU football squad could be. I look for a win Saturday, but my cautious nature tells me not to expect IU to devastate Purdue. The Boilers have been playing better of late, the weather is likely to be a bigger factor for the Hoosiers than the visitors and this is a rivalry game where those from that ugly campus up north can ruin what has been a beautiful season for IU.

Cig has ruined it for every other coach! :D

I was assuming the schools in that league don't have a lot of NIL. Tulsa fans seem to expect big time results, so maybe they do.

I would love us to break the record of Georgia Tech against Cumberland I think they scored 222.
I was watching some Football in the South documentary the other night. I knew of this game/score when referenced in a 5th grade history book in the 70’s, but not the backstory until a couple nights ago…seems Cumberland had already done away with their football team after the previous season. But, Georgia Tech Coach John Heisman threatened to sue Cumberland for breach of contract to the tune of $3000 (presumably their guarantee) if they didn't send a team. So Cumberland's administration went around the dorms and frats the week before scrounging up a team to field vs GT.

How about win comfortably and come out healthy if we want to compete in Dec/Jan?

You know those Carhart wearin, sister diddling, sub-humans will try to hurt us since they can’t beat us.
They practiced it this week.
Just play football.

We are obviously morally, intellectually and athletically better.
Let’s get em that way and move on.

IU has shown you can do it in one year, I think other schools are going why not here.
