I can't believe that we failed to score at least one run in the 7th, and then Rutgers homers in their first at-bat in the bottom of the inning.

Like with a lot of people, I've been a big critic of Houston and for good reason, but he really came through for us in putting us ahead in the 10th.

B10:

Brito drew a leadoff walk and DiGeorgio singled through the left side to put runners on first and second. Welsh then bunted the ball in the air towards first base and neither Scott nor Fucci could make the catch. Everyone was safe to load up the bases.

I bolded a player to look out for from each team when I released the starting lineups today. I chose Nyisztor and it seems like I chose correctly as he now has a solo home run and a 2 RBI single, totaling 3 RBI's.

Okay guys, it's time to end this game now, we still have another game to play today.

I'm glad that Brown didn't get hit with a loss since he pitched so well giving up the one hit (homer) and striking out 11 in 7 innings. Nine out of 10 times, he would win a game with his pitching performance.

These two RU wins are a big deal. More important than what happens against Neb who has a well rested number 1 waiting for a ranked IU team to boost RPI. Still like to sweep NU but doubtful unless tourney was flipped. Then be saying the same about RU. Go Hoosiers!
