Heading into B6 --> PSU leads 5-3

Grant Richardson with the walk off 3-run home run to left field. Hoosiers win 6-5!!!
With it being a seven inning game, in my mind, I was already thinking it would be great if we take 3 of 4, but I guess I shouldn't have doubted the Hoosiers on this one. We had to get to their bullpen to get it done, but in the end, it was a great comeback.

Note: 3B Brennan Rowe entered the game in the third inning to replace Barr. Barr was thrown out sliding hard into third base and appeared to be in discomfort. It is unknown if this move is simply precautionary.

T5

Penn State ties the game 1-1

Williams was the first to bat in the inning and doubled down the left field line, the first hit of the game for PSU. Williams advanced to third base on a ground out to 2B by Bartels and then scored on a ground out to 2B by Robison. Bierman struck out Homer to end the frame.

B7

The Hoosiers regain the lead 2-1.

Sam Murrison scored from third base after Houston's sac bunt and Jessee advanced to second base. Ashley then drew a two out walk. Richardson hit a deep fly ball to left field basically in the same location as his walk off home run but it was caught on the warning track, ending the frame.

T8

John Modugno relieved Bierman in the 7th inning and only allowed one baserunner on an infield hit to third base. In the top of the eighth, Modugno retired the first two batters but then walked two in a row and then hit the next batter after that. Litwicki came into relieve Modugno with the bases loaded and two out. Litwicki struck out Harry to end the inning.

Heading into B8 Hoosiers lead 2-1

Man, that 8th was almost a disastrous inning, loading the bases with two walks and a hit batter. Thankfully, Litwicki got us out of that.

B8

Hoosiers go 1-2-3

T9

Matt Litwicki out for the ninth to try to get the four out save. Has retired the first two batters.

Not sure what Litwicki was fired up about, but he let their dugout hear about after both 3rd out strikeouts. Dude was hot!
