Indiana wins the series finale 4-2 and splits the series with Nebraska. Good win.

We win the weekend series (it was a pod, but I consider it a series) taking 3 of 4 games from the Huskers and Rutgers. Great pitching performance by Bierman with a complete game and giving up just one earned run which was the dinger in the 9th, while also striking out 11. Since we split with Neb over the weekend, I believe I would rather see Rutgers win the next game against the Huskers. In addition to the second game of the day, Neb and Rutgers still have a game scheduled for Monday.

That certainly put us in a bad spot. What an unfair schedule.

Makes 3 of 4 even better.
The home team in the pod had four games stretched out over four days, while IU and Neb had to play double-headers on Sat and Sun. So, I guess you could say the schedule for the pod series favored Rutgers, especially with the pitching situation.

Really happy for Gabe. Stud performance. And 3 of 4 in a freaking pod that is stacked against us is a good weekend.
