Woodson continues with the excuses of working to get a “new” team to gel. This is the path he’s chosen by going the portal route each season. And, these guys have been practicing for months. Louisville’s roster is completely new and Pat Kelsey has his team playing well. Not sure IU can continue to wait on Woodson to land the perfect portal-paid team that will be successful despite horrendous coaching. Pat Kesley would have beaten his team by 20 with our roster.

Yea. And I would argue dealing with new players is just fundamentally how college basketball works. Of course as you noted, UL and Kelsey made it clear this excuse is not valid.
