North really put it to Marion . Any stats on how McCulley did . If Penix is back and healthy next year he starts .
He won't start at IU next season. Penix will likely still be here, and he'd have to beat out Tuttle or Williams if Penix were not available and that just won't happen. He's certainly IU's QB of the future, but need to pull the reins back a tad on him being able to beat out the 3 I mentioned to start next season.Marion radio is touting Lawrence North's quarterback as the starting quarterback at Indiana next year. I would think they would give McCully a year to learn the offense.
It is good to see McCulley coming to IU but he won't start next year is a good bet. He may be the QB of the future but not the immediate future and other IU QBs will have something to say how soon he will be a starter.
17 for 21 with 325 yards and 2 TDs, almost all of which was in the first half, as well as 18 rushing yards and another TD. Not bad!
