He had a really good game in his G league debut. He had something like 27 pts, 6 blocks, and five boards. With Hayward getting hurt yet again I doubt he’s in Maine for very long. Judging from the highlights there was little defense being played but you’ll have that. He even hit a couple 3’s. He went 10 of 15 over all, I think?

I don't think getting sent down is a big deal. He needs to be playing for sure, especially since he's reworked his shot.

Rehab assignment just a like a MLB player sent to the minors for live game rehab.
Romeo will likely never shoot as poorly again in his career, as he did at IU.
IU saw the worst of Romeo.
And Romeo still led IU in scoring as a Freshman.
Romeo is likely returning to the Top 5 player that he was in HS when he scored over 3,000 career points.
The Celtics took a chance on Romeo getting healthy and returning to his All-American HS form, and it may pay off big time if he carries this G-League performance over into the NBA with the Celtics.
Romeo might be one of the Celtics best players if he can return to his peak form.
In fact, I really like the backcourt of Kemba Walker, Romeo, and Carsen Edwards.
I think Romeo and Edwards may bring more scoring than Smart.
Romeo could also sub in for Jayson Tatum at the 3.
I see Carsen Edwards is listed at 5'11" on the Celtics roster.

Romeo Langford 27 points in G-League rehab assignment.
Finishing at the rim with either hand, knocking down 3 point shots.
Chasing down a driver in the open court as a defender and blocking shots at the rim.

...well, that didn't take long! Welcome back to Boston, Romeo!

Thx for posting this. It was a real treat. Romeo coming to IU didn't bring us a lot of victories, but who knows what impact it will end up having when other high caliber Indiana players decide where they will play ball.
