Go to the ER, get some really good drugs and forget about the whole episode, otherwise, it sucks.
They sound really painful, and since I'm an expert on pain meds, I'd say go to the hospital and get the drugs. I was one rx away from an opiate addiction recently, but thankfully I had the sense to realize not to get another refill of them.
Advice - Post about your issue on as many public forums as possible, so that as many people as possible can mock you, and thus, ease the pain of you passing the stones, relative to the public mocking you are receiving.
Sounds like a solid plan.
My advice is to focus energy on preventing future stones:
1. Drink lots of water (always remain fully hydrated)
2. No peanuts
3. No spinach

ER will hook you up with some pain meds and an IV to help you pass it. If you wait long enough and can stand the pain, you will either pass it or the pain will get even worse. I've done it both ways and the medicated way is better. Either way, see a doctor to see what else is trying to get out.
