Much better than a "solid one"! This is a home run hire! He is a great recruiter, he develops players and he
has connections all over the country.

Not sure. It can’t hurt but Kaufman is a Ostrom recruit.
Hunter is known for developing big men, but he also worked closely with Otto Porter who I think compares very favorably with Kaufman. Both Kaufman and Porter were listed at 6'8", 210 power forwards ranked in the high 30's as recruits. Porter hasn't exactly been a dominant player in the NBA, but he was Big East POY, was drafted #2 overall, and signed a max deal thanks in part to Hunter's work with him in his two years at Georgetown.
