Beard probably having second thoughts after reading all the comments from zeke on the other post.
Might be best so as to keep most of us on this board from having to see whining for many years to come

A little birdie told me that if we make the S16 then Woodson’s status would be re-evaluated.

It would be justified. The expectation before the season was at least a Sweet Sixteen.
If we make the dance he could win just enough to make his "retirement" not such a sure thing.
Just a great guy who loves IU,Pacers Colts and Cubs. He has a wife named Julie who treats him well with wonderful support. She even makes him breakfast smoothies and breakfast casseroles.
That response is getting pretty tiresome. Can you at least throw in an occasional slack jaw knuckle dragging mouth breather? Just to break up the monotony.

The way he is cooking right now an unretirement is possibly in play. Sweet sixeteen and he is back. He is peaking at just the right time
If Woodson is back I’m officially retiring as a fan after 45 years. Would be the dumbest move in college hoops and make Dolson look silly. However, would right in IU’s wheelhouse.
It's a hunch I think if Indiana had there guy why would May sign the extension if he was getting the Indiana job unless Indiana told them they got there guy thanks but no thanks Dusty. So makes more sense it's somebody not coaching if he has committed to taking the job like Jay Wright, Tony Bennett, Mark Turgeon, Brad Stevens..
