Seems to me the answer has always been a combination of athletic ability and a nearly obsessive desire to achieve. The best have that desire to work, work, work at their game. They learn the little things, they learn the nuances of movement and they work very, very hard on opportunity areas. They don't need as much coaching since they research and find out what makes the great great. Clearly he had a huge desire to succeed. Murray will play a long time, Ivey not so long.

His performance vs IU on Saturday of BTT was darn near perfect. His whole game that day and JBo’s last 3 minutes are why, despite thinking most of the game IU would Win, I didn’t get too mad they didn’t. It took a superhuman effort/results to pull that game out for Iowa. Was not IU giving the game away, but Iowa, especially the 2 above, playing flawlessly down the stretch to take it. Hats off to those 2 guys.
