I don't think this has been posted, but civil forfeiture statutes and procedures still piss me off, because local governments refuse to fund their police departments adequately and then the local cops try to take advantage of unfair forfeiture statutes to fund their departments while local judges claim they have to approve it because they are "tough on crime."
