Iowa fans had to be very disappointed in his play this winter. His ineptitude was a key to that Richmond loss. But, he has 'potential' out the wassou. Will be interesting to see where he goes.

Short point guards who cant shoot dont have potential out the wassou.
He does. He averaged 7.3 assists for every 40 minutes played, shot 84% on FTs this year, and averaged over 3 steals per 40M this year. He's very strong and can get to the rim (48% on 2s). The issues are that he's not a good 3 pt shooter (26%), and he also avg. 3.1 TOs every 40M..

He could be a very effective PG, but he plays out of control, and gets frustrated. Sound like anyone you know?

Wasnt he the one who sat that “amazing screen” on Race Thompson? Whistle should have went the other way.

Hes too small and doesnt jump well enough to be reliable at the rim, cant shoot, and gets out of position going for steals/being too agressive. Yah hes good at the line and racks up assists at times in Frans offense. Every Fran pg gets a good amount of assists. He also kills the offense by over dribbling. Hes a perfect back up point guard for a major conference team. It's not like he didnt get a chance. He started over 40 games and Iowa took off when he was moved to the bench this year.

I went to school and remain in regular contact with a bunch of Hawkeye fans. By all accounts, no one in Hawkeye Kingdom is disappointed Toussaint's moving on.
