I guess they had Joe Paterno Day this weekend at Penn St. I am shocked. The steam has barely cleared from the infamous showers, and they are celebrating a child rape enabler? There is testimony that Joe knew about Sandusky as far back as 1976. I am speechless.

The Penn St. program is a very bizzare scenario. How do they ever live down what happened? How do they address Joe Paterno? What is Penn St.'s identity outside of Joe Paterno?

I remember attending the Penn St v IU game at Memorial Stadium right before the scandal broke. It is surreal to think about. Personally, I don't want Penn St in the Big 10. The only thing they bring to the conference is a bad image, and there are still many Penn St. people that are willing to not only ignore the horrors that occurred, but celebrate the people that allowed them to occur. They need to go.

It's pathetic and embarrassing. A good chunk of their fans honestly scare the crap out of me. They think everyone is out to get them.

Joe Pa's fans = Knight loopers + about 20-25 more years of Paterno at Penn State.

And obviously what Joe Pa did in turning a blind eye to things at Penn State is way worse than anything RMK did by acting like a jerk.

In Paterno's defense he did report it to the powers that be at the university. They dropped the ball and Paterno put his head back in the sand.

The whole group at P$U concerns me. When you put your "fan investment" ahead of children..., that's just damaged... If we had a pedophile (sp?) associated with IU athletics I'd completely stop supporting the athletic department in any way. The Penn Staters just buttoned down the hatches, went into deep denial mode, and doubled up on their support. Sick, sad, stuff over there.
