Not to rag on a local who is a genuinely nice guy and IU alum but damn. He's doing PGA now?!

Also Tiger looks huge. Like a linebacker. As someone who lifted heavy free weights for 30 plus years I bet we will soon find it's not the smart way to train. My back is like the tin man. Tiger has had so many problems. At one point he was benching 350. Contrast Tiger with Tom Brady's body. And Brady is playing football. Totally different weight training approach.

Lastly the 1/2 zip is horrible

Kind of beside the point but serious question. Are you considered an alum if you didn't graduate?

Lol IU gave him an honorary degree. Now is that an alum lmao?

That's another guy whose pop set him up
He's good, although I can't listen to him and Aikman when they do Cowboys games.

When it comes to second generation sportscasters, I think Kenny Albert is better than Buck. Guy has called every major team sport, and does it well. His NHL play-by-play, in particular, is outstanding.

Joe is terrible.
His dad was great.
I have never heard anyone say they like him as a broadcaster. I don't understand how he has become "the" guy.

That said he's a very nice guy in person. His battle; strike that. Let's call it what it is: war. His war on hair loss is nothing I'd wish on my worst enemy. He has been bold and he has been brave in his fight to keep his hair. God Speed Joe Buck

I lifted heavy for a long time too. I don't feel like that has affected me as far as body issues. The sports I participated in...yes that has had an effect.

Some of the guys like Koepka, Woods, and such must stretch like a beast. I mean in golf you have to be pretty flexible. Idk there are guys on the tour that don't look like they do any training and they are good so?

Congratulations on following me here and proving, once again, you're an asshole.
Calling names? Isn't that what you've criticized me for since I've posted here?

As usual, you're nothing if not a hypocrite.

Yes, he hammers me when I get out of line...hey bowl you know what the penalty for that is right? It's death pal. I suggest you get saved. :)

I feel like the tin man. And again look how thin Brady is compared to bulked up tiger. I'm thinking bulk isn't great for longevity. But those are just feelings. I don't know

Some body types just react differently to exercise. I gain weight if I exercise only. If I exercise and diet, I don't lose weight, but I stay the same and lose inches. And I do weights, but not extreme. I do more aerobic, like biking.

I've always been that way. When I went into Basic Training, I weighed 169 and my size 32 waist jeans were snug on me. When I finished Basic, I still weighed 169 but those same jeans hung on me and I had to really tighten the belt to keep them up.

Needless to say, 169 is WAY in the rearview mirror.

I'm very thankful I've never had back problems. The one time I did strain my back moving a couch, I couldn't move. I can't imagine having to live with that.

I think Bledsoe used to squat 500. He was a total gym rat. To each his own.

Brady is more diet related but what the hell do I know.

Remember when Willard Scott used to do that segment of people over 100.

1 guy smoked every day
1 ate bacon every day
1 ate asparagus every day

Idk

Once saw Mickleson do a stretch where he was sitting on the ground with legs stretched out in front of him and spread apart. He then touched his forehead to the ground.

Try it I dare you

I like Buck. I wonder how he got to stay on Fox and got an ESPN gig too.

Tiger is going to tear his back up again. He is stupidly not listening to his body - pain means shut it down. Dude should go coach Stanford.
He didn't need all that muscle. Isn't distance derived from swing speed?

He's single now with fortune, fame, and average taste. The world is his oyster. His legacy is set, and so is his reputation. He should just go be a gambler drunk until his pecker falls off. Losing tourney after tourney is going to get him Baker acted

If I could be a pro in anything it would obviously be golf, but I can't imagine a more miserably frustrating sport to play. Golfers and pitchers. Everything else when things are going poorly you can get frustrated and just play harder, and if they're going really, really badly go maul someone and feel better. Golf is insidious. Just eats away at you w/ no outlet

I wanna be the guy who eats bacon every day. About five years ago I started eating bacon, egg, and cheese wrap for Sunday Breakfast. I really think I preached better after I started with bacon. I was just in a better mood.

all that time wasted on playing socialist soccer you could’ve gotten better at golf. I’m at +12 handicap And improving.
Yeah a 12 handicap is ridiculous to me. When I was single dropping heavy bucks on the latest greatest clubs (it's the shoes) and taking lessons I was a million miles away from a 12 handicap. I have friends who just "picked it up" and are good golfers. Lessons didn't do much for me. I could never feel what they said I should I feel. I think you are right. I needed lessons as a little kid. Very envious of those with a 12 handicap and improving
