James Franklin took a veiled shot about scheduling (canceling games and replacing with cream puffs) that was clearly referencing Michigan. When it became evident that Franklin had essentially put bulletin board material in play, several PSU folk are trying to insist that Franklin was actually talking about IU canceling the remaining Louisville games.

FWIW, Michigan did cancel home and homes with Arkansas Virginia Tech, and UCLA.but some of that was to add the 18&19 games with Notre Dame and a new AD that didn’t want to honor schedules that created 6/8 home game offsets instead of 7/7. The home and homes with Texas and Oklahoma are still on (and the Texas games will not be cancelled as changing the home dates were a concession to Fox to allow both UT and OU to leave for the SEC a year early.

Looking back at your historical posts, you seem to primarily focus on Michigan. Are you a UM fan or live in Ann Arbor?

Yes, I don't put it past Franklin to cover his butt by saying he was talking about IU. Since when has he worried about IU instead of Michigan?

Maybe since ...

It's stupid to try to divert it to IU when part of his quote includes, "... trying to go UNDEFEATED..." Only once (1967) in the long sad history of IU football could the word, undefeated, be a realistic goal of an IU football team... Sorry, nothing to see here. Move on.
