Post your jam band collaboration vids.

I was researching festivals for the upcoming year because I want to go to a good one this year, when I came across this video from Lockn' 2018. I might go to Lockn' this year though they haven't announced this year's lineup yet. Anyway, pretty cool version of Whole Lotta Love with Jason Bonham, who always shreds. Derick Trucks joined up for slide guitar and while he added a nice dimension, the Umphree's McGee lead player was better. The Umphree's lead vocalist did a nice job here too - not easy covering a Robert Plant lead vocal.

Not claiming this as a legendary vid; just the one that gave me the idea for the thread:

Sigh ... those are not jam bands. those are bands who are jamming.

Jam Bands have one major characteristic that is shared with progressive Jazz..

Improvision. Playing without a net.
