Cahill scored in double figures in all three games for the Hoosiers in the tournament and led IU in rebounding in every contest.

ROAD WARRIORS
Indiana's two road games this week will end a stretch where the Hoosiers will have played 10 out of 14 contests away from Bloomington. Indiana begins Big Ten play with three of the first four contests on the road and four of the first six.

For the first time since 2008, Indiana played four-consecutive games away from Bloomington early this year. The Hoosiers were sent to DePaul in Chicago for the semifinals of the Preseason WNIT on Nov. 19 and played at IPFW on Nov. 24. IU then played a pair of games in the Vanderbilt Thanksgiving Tournament in Nashville, Tenn. on Nov. 27-28.

COMEBACK KIDS
Four times this season, Indiana has faced late second-half deficits before overcoming them to earn a victory.

• Jan. 3 vs. Michigan: IU trailed by nine with 5:48 remaining in the fourth quarter, five Hoosiers scored as part of a 12-0 Indiana run to take a 61-58 lead late in regulation. Michigan's Katelynn Flaherty hit a 3-point field goal to force OT before IU outscored the Wolverines 16-8 in the extra period. Indiana scored 12 of its OT points from the free throw line, including the last 10. The Hoosiers outscored Michigan 28-11 in the game's final 10:48.
• Dec. 11 vs. Samford: The Hoosiers trailed by 11 with 4:00 left in the third quarter. IU went on a 17-2 run over a span of 3:56, scoring 13-straight during the stretch to take a four-point lead. In overtime, Indiana outscored Samford 13-4, thanks in part to an 8-0 run by Amanda Cahill by herself to start the OT period.
• Dec. 2 vs. Georgia Tech: Indiana trailed by five with 8:36 to play in the game. IU outscored GT 20-6 in the final 6:37 and held the Yellow Jackets scoreless for the final 4:05 of the game.
• Nov. 17 vs. then-No. 24 Chattanooga: IU trailed by four with 1:44 left in the third quarter and was behind heading into the fourth quarter. Indiana outscored the Mocs 19-6 in fourth quarter to take the win.

REBOUNDS = Ws
Indiana outrebounded Michigan 43-35 in the thrilling OT victory in Assembly Hall on Jan. 3. It marked the seventh time this season that the Hoosiers had outrebounded an opponent. IU is currently 6-1 in games in which it outrebounds its foe as Indiana picked up other wins winning that category against Tennessee State, Chattanooga, at IPFW, Samford and Yale.

HIT THE GASSION PEDAL
Junior Alexis Gassion has scored in double figures in six of the last seven games and led the Hoosiers with 19 points vs. Yale on Dec. 28. For the year, Gassion is averaging 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as she has scored in double figures 11 times.

Against No. 23/21 Miami on Dec. 20, Gassion tallied 19 points with a season-high three steals while nailing a career-high tying eight field goals. She also accomplished a double-double against Samford on Dec. 11 with 13 points and a season-high 13 rebounds.

IU ONE OF 11 PROGRAMS IN POWER 5 TO PLAY 5 OR MORE 2015 NCAA TEAMS IN NON-CON
After playing Miami (FL) and West Virginia in the Florida Sunshine Classic, Indiana played seven postseason teams from a year ago during the non-conference slate (12 games), including five teams that played in the NCAA Tournament last season (Tennessee State, Chattanooga, DePaul, Ohio, Miami). IU is one of just 11 programs in the power five conferences (ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC) to have played five or more NCAA tournament teams from 2015 in non-conference play this season.

JENN FROM THE BLOCK
Jenn Anderson is starting to come around after missing some time in preseason due to injury as she has started in each of the last nine games and is shooting 62.1 percent from the field so far this year.

Anderson tallied a season-high 14 points at Ohio State and added seven rebounds while shooting 7-of-10 from the field. In the win over Michigan on Jan. 3, Anderson skied for a career-high 11 boards. She has now scored in double figures in three games this year.

As a sophomore, Anderson ranked fourth in the Big Ten in field goal percentage in 2014-15, shooting 56.0 percent. Her field goal percentage was the highest percentage by an IU player for a single year since 1997-98. She appeared in 30 games and made 28 starts last year while averaging 7.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Anderson also nailed 72.1 percent of her free throw attempts. From her freshman to sophomore year, Anderson saw major improvement in scoring (+4.5 ppg), field goal percentage (+10.2 percent), free throw percentage (+25 percent) as well as rebounds, steals and blocks.

WALTER IS GOING ON
Sophomore Jess Walter has started for the Hoosiers in each of the last four games after a tough start as she missed over three weeks of preseason practice due to a concussion prior to the season opener. In her four starts, Walter has shot 71.4 percent from 3-point range and 50 percent overall from the field. At Ohio State on Jan. 7, she scored a season-best 11 points while shooting 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 3-point field goals.

Last year, Walter led all Big Ten freshmen and was fourth overall in the conference in 3-point field goal percentage at 41.7 percent in 2014-15. She appeared in all 31 games last year with four starts, averaging 7.4 points per game and shot 73.8 percent from the free throw line. Walter scored in double figures in 10 games and connected on three or more 3-pointers in six contests, hitting five two times.
