IU's Kick-off Return Game...

IU is currently last in yards per kick-off return in the B10. At the Wake game the returner was getting hit at or around the 15 yard line. It almost seems like the coaching staff has stressed ball security over return yards.

Is that a real possibility or just my imagination?

Or, are our returners just that slow to start off?

Football experts weigh in please.....

I don't have the figures but bet that our average field position on kickoffs is less than the 20 yard line. If we just let the thing go into the end zone we get it at the 25. I'm no expert, so I would be interested in other thoughts, also.
