IU won 73-68 in OT. IU was without Holmes to injury and Cardano-Hillary who is in the Covid protocol. Purdue had a slim lead for much of the game and had an eight-point lead with a little under four minutes to play, but IU chipped away and actually had a one point lead at the very end of regulation, but an unfortunate foul was called on Berger putting the Boilers at the line. Fortunately, the Boilers hit just one of two FTs putting the game into overtime which IU dominated. Patberg had a bad day shooting the ball, but hit a big three down the stretch to allow IU to get back into the game. IU had to be careful with the fouling because of their limited numbers, and that probably took some teeth out of their defense. Berger had 24 points, while Gulbe scored 21.
