1st period:
Threes by Garzon and Scalia gave IU an early 6-2 lead. The Wildcats stayed close by pretty much trading baskets for IU in the period.
End of 1st: IU 26-21
Holmes had eight points in the period. IU hit on 55.6 pct of their shots but the Wildcats were 47.4 pct.
2nd period:
IU grabbed a 33-23 lead early in the 2nd with Parrish nailing a 3 and a NW timeout with 7:23 left in the period.
Two post players for NW were sitting with two fouls. Melannie Daley was keeping the Wildcats in this game on 7 of 9 shooting for 14 points. IU had a 41-27 lead under four minutes left in the half.
Daley scored after a turnover by IU to cut the lead to 41-31 IU and she had 16 points. IU had cooled in the period and had gone over three minutes without scoring. NW held for the last shot of the half and scored on an offensive rebound as IU has a ten-point lead.
Halftime: IU 43 Northwestern 33
Northwestern had nine more possessions in the half than IU with IU having 6 turnovers in the half to the Wildcats 0 turnovers. Holmes went 7 for 7 and 2 for 2 at the line for 16 points. IU was 54.8 pct from the field and 30.8 from behind the arc. They were 5-5 at the line. Bargesser was the only player with multiple fouls at 2.

3rd period:
Scalia opened the 3rd with a 3 to give IU a 46-33 lead. Daley continued to have a hot hand with IU up 48-37 in the first two minutes of the 3rd. Parrish knocked down here 2nd 3 of the game to give IU a 51-37 lead. At a media timeout, it was IU 53-37 with 7:14 left in the period.
IU pushed the lead to 20 at 57-37 on a 15-foot jumper by Holmes at the 5:30 mark. An officials timeout with 4:59 came after a foul with Holmes going to the line for two FTs coming out of the timeout.
The lead ballooned to 25 points with under four minutes left in the period. Bargesser was hit with her third foul, but that's not going to matter at this point.
Daley has 22 of the Wildcats 43 points at this point.

Holmes had 28 points and LaMendola had added a career high 8 points so far. IU outscored NW 28-12 in the period.
4th period:
IU had kind of hit a lull to start the 4th with a mix of starters and reserves on the floor. it was 73-54 with under six minutes to go.
It was IU 77-54 at an officials timeout with 4:56 left and NW heading to the FT line out of the timeout.
With Holmes not playing the 4th and some of the other starters pulled, NW has outscored IU in the period so far. NW pulled within 19 at the under three minute mark. NW continued to cut into the lead and had outscored IU 17-8 so far in the period and all of the IU starters being spectators.
