IU will be underdog in next 3 games

What will be the state of the board of IU goes:

3-0--legitimate contender for B1G title
2-1--legitimate contender for top 4 in B1G, fringe for B1G title
1-2--dissatisfaction with coaching/state of team. But acknowledgement that we are a likely 6-10 seed in NCAA.
0-3--meltdown/despair. IU on the NCAA bubble.

The second half of our schedule looks much more manageable than the first 8 games. We are a lock to be 4-4 after 8 games. Winning at least one of next three puts us in a much more comfortable position.

Gonna be an optimist: 27-9 and 13-5. We lose at OSU, PU (I hate saying that), at Maryland, at Wisconsin and one slip at home (Maryland or MSU). 1-1 in BTT. We are then a 5 seed.

This would be an amazing season. Could happen....

Not sure how your math works.

Already lost one at MSU. Your scenario would put us at 12-6 and 22-9 going into the BTT. Definite tourney team, but a 5 seed would be very unlikely in that scenario. We'd be up against other teams with similar records against better competition. Committee puts a premium on tough scheduling.

IU can beat Maryland at home. I hope the crowd shows up in a FRENZY on thurs. O$U is not a great team by any means. I am liking this team. CTC is doing a solid job with what he has.
