For the record, the few KY fans that were in TAH were not mistreated unless you count the team stripper who got her ankle stepped on by a student running down the steps. There was a "**** KY" chant that went down in the student section when a KY fan walked down the stairway next to the students waiving his "Bring it" arms and screaming at the kids. He was escorted out by police.

The mistreatment BS was a cover used to hide the embarassment of Cal's refusal to play IU. Total made up Bullshit.
keep living in denial. Matt Jones said Cal will never play at ass hall because of what Athony Davis' family was called by holier than thou IU fans.

"All those fans came out of their seats and rushed the floor like idiots," Dills told Kentucky sports blog VaughtsViews.com. "The next thing I knew, I was knocked down five or six steps ... I was scared to death."

Dills, who first posed for Playboy's "Girls of the SEC" spread in 2007, said she suffered a swollen ankle and torn tendons after the post-game hubbub and would be unable to participate in an upcoming Playboy shoot that was scheduled for Saturday.

"I just can't do the shoot with my ankle like it is," Dills said, adding "But that's okay because I do a lot of them."

Matt jones is a very long way from being a credible source and the Davis family claim is a new one to add to the list of BS stories.

I mentioned your team recruiting stripper hurting her ankle, it was IU people who helped her after she fell..you forgot to mention that.

Cal passed on playeing Iu because he knew he would get his ass beat in Ruppdump. You clowns can make all the BS excuses you want. No one (that matters) buys it.

Personally I’d like the series to start again. I’m in the minority it seems. College hoops is better when Indiana plays Kentucky, when Kansas plays Missouri.
I don't think you are in the minority at all.

IMHO the vast majority of KY fans who are doing back flips making excuses for Cal would; if being truthful agree...especially the actual KY grads. Wal mart Kats like Richiewiththeruns here are clueless. College basketball is definitely better when IU and KY clash.

Matt Jones? THE Matt Jones? Wow. That settles it then - he's got such credibility. LOL

In my UK circle they are getting tired of the player turnover and Cal’s “pro” first attitude. A couple have stopped watching games. A bunch can’t even remember player names. The UK eats first attitude is gone.
I got the same thing from my circle as well.

Google the chick and then consider the claim she makes about doing a lot of photo shoots. Zero credibility. Her only claim to fame is as a "playmate" who got stepped on. One interview that a bunch of other outlets picked up.

Meh. We can talk. Especially about UK seeing as they bitched out of the series because they got tired of watching us beat them on a daily basis, and they sucked worse than us last year. So you are wrong again.
Sheer reality and I'm not a KY fan at all. The last 2 decades Ky has been far superior. (than most programs) I think the last victory for IU was it AD who sat out almost the entire first half with "foul trouble"? I don't most Ky fans care if they ever play IU again. Most consider IU far inferior these days. Maybe that changes with still another coach.

Typical antihero. There always has to be that guy who disagrees with you just to disagree. They also get mad and spout off that go to phrase about not knowing basketball.
The only people who tend to be intimidated or otherwise upset about it are those who don’t know basketball. They typically have trouble with a number of things, however, so their insecurities are well practiced.

So, you find yourself agreeing with UK fans about basketball? And you thought that was an example of your intelligence? Lol
See that’s how dumb you are. Yes I can agree with a rival fan base regarding Kentucky.

examples like
Kentucky has the best college program, Kentucky has a poor game coach but great recruiter, Kentucky needs to change recruiting strategy to get older.
All are true and I’m willing to bet most uk fans would agree.

uk fans know they have a better program right now and have been way more consistent. But uk fans also know that playing IU can result in a loss. Something they don’t want to happen. Best way to prevent losing an inferior program is to not play them.
Clearly you are dumb or just a troll of another team.
I hope you respond so I can continue calling you dumb.

I'd love to see us play again, but I think it's best to do home and home series, so it's on campus. I also think a 4 year rotation of on campus and then Indy/Lville would be fine. I guess neutral site would be OK too, but to me at that point I think it loses it's luster a bit, but we're probably better off playing. I think Cal and your AD were only accepting of the last option and our admin didn't want that. And all the smokescreen and drama about UK fans being assaulted in Btown is hooey. You should try attending a game at Rupp, cheering for and wearing an opponent's attire. I've never seen, nor believe, an opponent is treated so poorly by IU fans, and totally do not believe the gal who claimed she was.

But this is all from your perspective, and you’ve never shown you have an understanding, either. Dumb people (you) endorse other dumb people (them). See how that works?

You are the dbag saying IU isn’t relevant (like what some uk fans are saying)
So now you are also agreeing with uk fans that you have just now called dumb. You’ve also said dumb people endorse other dumb people.
Thank you for showing us how dumb you are.

I like the "event" games at LOS desite it being a poor venue for most seats. Sell 40K seats split evenly. Three-year cycles: Btown-Indy-Lexingtuckey. Good for College Basketball.

No, your worse than a UK fan. Seeing as how you aren’t a UK fan, you seem to be awfully willing to stand up on their behalf. And it is TRUE that they bitched out of playing us after they were forced to watch the Watford dagger on replay all year via ESPN. We got the best of them, they took their ball and went home. FACT. Like it or not.

That all changes when they start making deep runs again, which is likely. Cal may not be popular here, but nobody doubts he can coach.
Deep runs???
Laughable.

Maybe to the SEC Semis. They'll be lucky to make the tournament next year.

Just read some comments from rupp rafters regarding the series.

though I respect the UK basketball tradition and accomplishments. The UK fan base seems to be the most sensitive borderline scared fan base in college basketball.
I hope the series gets renewed and both programs can benefit from it.

I always laugh at the Uk fans when they cry or whine about the name calling and fan behavior.
I experienced similar behavior at freedom hall when Mike Davis was coach. I thought it was awesome fan bases behaved like that towards each other. No fights, just pure sh*t talking from young kids to grown adults and vise versa.
UK has had a tradition of being shady if not outright cheating. Knight got very upset when Steve Alford had to sit out a game against UK because he took a picture for a charity. Whereas UK was cheating like crazy ie Melvin Turpin not being able to read and still eligible.

History tells us that this past season was an exception for them. I hate UK, but not so much that I’m prepared to ignore reality.

The reality is they aren't going anywhere next year. They'll be lucky to finish fifth in the SEC.

Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee and LSU are all more talented than pUKe.

Actually Indiana’s last win over Kentucky was the 2016 tourney which was the last time they played.

IU outplayed Kentucky at Assembly Hall when Davis was in foul trouble then UofK returned the favor later that season in a very entertaining tourney game.

I don’t get into the sh*t talking about other programs. I would love for the IU UofK series to resume.

There you go . . . Lol. Sorry, I’m not prepared to suspend reality or ignore history just because I can’t stand UK. You’re welcome to do that, but I’ll pass.

Obvious you know nothing about the talent in the SEC. Fair enough....just don't couch it in history.
There isn't a lot to go on.....World Wide ain't hooking up Fat Cal anymore.
Do some homework.

Describes you, Vbear and feepee. Constantly berating and calling people stupid and kid. It’s like a child screaming for attention from mommy. Crap! I just stooped to y’all’s level.

I want it to resume at the respect school's campuses. College basketball is about energy. Let both IU and UK bring it!
