Figured I'd start a separate one just so it's easier for people to keep track. Indiana swept the series-opening double-header Friday night. First pitch at 1:05 p.m. ET.

For Indiana: Fr. RHP Connor Manous (2.53 ERA, 8 K, 3 BB, 9 H in 10 2/3 IP/5 appearances)

Indiana batting order:

1. CF Logan Kaletha

5. DH Ryan Fineman
6. 1B Scotty Bradley
7. LF Matt Gorski
8. C Wyatt Cross
9. SS Justin Walker

T1: Butler's Zach Jarosz flies out to second. Tyler Houston doubles to center. Gehrig Parker walks. Michael Hartnagel grounds out to pitcher, but Hartnagel advances to second.

Garrett Christman hits a 2-RBI single to right to score Parker and Houston.

Butler 2, Indiana 0

I haven't seen anyone post anything. Did anything happen to Houston, or is he just not playing because he isn't producing? Just curious....

B1: Kaletha flies out to right. Lloyd grounds out to second. Miller grounds out to third. 3 up, 3 down for the Hoosiers.

End of 1st inning: Still 2-0 Butler

He had two errors in Game 1 against Butler and Walker also got the start in Game 2 I believe. Probably has more do to with Walker producing and Houston not.

T2: Butler's Connor Dall singles to center. Zach Parker flies out to center. Jacob Margroff flies out to left. Jarosz reaches first on an error by the third baseman, advancing Dall to second. Houston singles to shortstop to load the bases. Parker flies out to left.

Still 2-0 Butler heading into B2.

It's hard to understand, but Miller is having more trouble in the field than Houston. I really thought the left side of the infield was going to be lock-down tight for us, but they've been leaky.

B2: Sowers singles through the left side. Fineman singles to right center. Bradley walks to advance Fineman to second and load the bases.

Gorski reaches first on a fielder's choice, Bradley advances to second, Fineman advances to third, with Sowers scoring unearned on a throwing error by the third baseman.

Butler 2, Indiana 1 with zero outs

Worst inning of the season. 3 strike outs after loading the bases with no outs. Lucky to get one on an error. Pathetic offense.

T3: Butler's Hartnagel walks. Christman reaches first on a fielder's choice, Hartnagel out at second. Christman advances to second on a passed ball, then gets caught stealing at third. Gargano fouls out to first.

Still 2-1 Butler heading into B3

B3: Lloyd strikes out swinging. Miller grounds out to shortstop. Sowers doubles through the right side. Fineman strikes out swinging.

End of 3rd inning: Still 2-1 Butler
