yeah, I think everyone is tired of the uneven effort, even when we do win. The season is entirely still within their grasp. Begin showing you care, play hard for 40 minutes (and smart for most of that), and they can change that attitude. It starts with beating the teams you should, like NW, and then with showing you have some heart and finally showing up against PU. Those are both must-wins to me, to get past this listlessness.

Oh, and after Iowa loses to Rutgers tonight, they’ll have 6 conference losses, just like IU and RU.

Beat NW, make a good showing against Purdue, play relatively hard the rest of the season, and play the freshmen as much as possible.

Beating Purdue would be like getting really good restaurant sausage biscuits & gravy.........something completely unexpected but very gratifying.

I don't care what kind of stupid south keto atkins beach diet a person is on....show me someone who can walk away from good biscuits and gravy when they're hungry.

Bob Evans B&G was always the Sunday cure for the Saturday night hangover....at least when I was young.
Not many BE's left down my way, but there's one and I keep threatening to go over there for some B&G. Might need to make that happen this weekend and see if they still hit the spot!

slight correction: not a "good showing" against PU. beat their asses, plain and simple! If that doesn't bother and embarass Archie, the staff and team, then we definitely need a makeover, top to bottom.

We have one here. Gravy very good, although not as good as mine. But their biscuits kick my ass.,...I need to study up there.

I make them about every third Sunday. It's a pain in the butt to do. When I do make them.....forget about lunch. We're good until dinner.

Another good restaurant for B&G is Ann's Restaurant in Franklin. What a great place that is, but only open 6:00-2:00......also try the tenderloin and any big salad.

I agree with that last sentence. It's disgusting that they want that game more than us. But CAM doesn't seem like a big "pride" guy. He's more of a "trust the process" guy.

Watching the game last night, DD (not a big fan) made an obvious observation about some of the BT teams....essentially he said that you have to be tough to win the BT, and that year in year out Wisky, MSU, and Purdue are the toughest BT teams and that's why they win BT championships. He also said Iowa is never a tough team, and that's why they never win a BT championship. He didn't mention IU, but........I would agree with him, But John B's Michigan teams, and perhaps this Michigan team, may be the exception that shows that less physical, very finely-tuned teams can win, as long as they are 'tough enough'. We know IU will never be like Michigan under CAM, so we have to go the physical route or stay home. I do wish CAM would take a page from John B. and Tom Allen, admit he's a good coach on only one end of the court, and hire a specialist to handle the other end. But CAM is a proud guy, and "pride goeth before the fall".

sounds like we're back to the topic of 'more bad assery' on the team...

Rather than a coach to work on the offense, I’d rather see us hire a sport psychologist or a coach that could work on the things that exist between the ears.

This team needs confidence and toughness more than Xs and Os, IMHO of course.

Yeah, it's gross, but B&G is part of my childhood, and would be once in a many year visit. But that does get me wondering if my local bfast diner has B&G. Maybe I'll try there first, everything I've had there is good and homemade.

Another "let down game" after a nice win over a ranked team...
11 of 19 at the line
10 turnovers
Hope I am wrong!
