I hope and expect to play them again and hopefully in the BTT Championship game. That would be epic! I'm curious to know what others think about what we could do differently to beat them in a second meeting?
I guess specifically, can we somehow stop/contain Valentine? Guy just ate us up in East Lansing and I was so impressed with this ability to drive to the hole and recognize when someone was coming over to help. And he'd do that little lob pass for an easy layup. And then if the man guarding him on the perimeter lays back a bit to prevent the drive, he drains the 3. He's effectively a 1,2, and 3 position player.
So do we not try to help when he drives and probably give him 30-40 points but keep the rest of them down?
Or maybe go right at offensively to hopefully draw fouls with a potentially home court advantage?
