Historically, yes....we own the danger zone.

This season can still be different...and I want to believe that it will be. BUT.....how on earth does a team rebound from this when they are looking at Michigan State the following week?

If that game is ugly (good chance it will be) I'm not sure they can bounce back and save the season. They clearly lack the mental fortitude needed to win in the Big Ten so it's going to take something extra special. But it's not over yet folks (although it's close).

This is going to get ugly. Like 4-8 ugly. No bouncing back from this, especially when the defense gives away 55 points at home to a terrible team. Not even sure what the coaches can do or say to make this any better.

What drugs are you on? There is no way this mentally weak team comes back from this type of loss and wins our only winnable games on the road.

Terrible team? Not very nice....

IU coulda/shoulda/woulda won by 30+ last night.

If your a Rutgers fan checking in, you're seeing a fan base that has known nothing but losing in incredibly creative ways in shock because THIS ONE was the one that did it. It's not very flattering.

Your team is not as good as what you saw in the 3rd quarter and Rutgers is not as bad. Similarly Rutgers is not as good as we looked in the 4th and your team is not as bad. Both are average to above average P5 teams. The difference between the two is that Rutgers was mentally tougher and that we did not give up. It comes down to coaching and the players buying into the program fully.

How you can say that Indiana is a better team based on the third quarter but ignore the tables turning in the fourth is perplexing. It is a team game and that includes how the coaches keep the players focused through the entire game. BTW. we did the same thing at Maryland last year so it's not like this was a fluke. Good luck the rest of the season and I hope your team goes bowling.

BTW: Sudfield is a stud its a shame that he missed your last two games against quality opponents.
