If we don’t come out with a fire under our ass tonight, then when will we? I wouldn’t want to be playing IU tonight.
Not sure what a dead cat bounce could look like with this team.
Is this another 'true good to be true' line?
Every Big Ten team is looking forward to playing IU this season.
I said the same thing on Tuesday night after Iowa. Uhm I think you or I could get this group to play more cohesively and tough than can Woodson and crew.
There can’t be much buy in from the team as far as belief and trust in MW and his coaching.
Could we see the players come together on their own and put out a great team effort (despite the coaching)? I’m highly skeptical.
Every season under MW there have been losing streaks where it seemed the wheels might fully come off, and the team showed enough resiliency to avoid it. For instance, last season was a multi decade stink bomb, but they still managed a late 5 game win streak. Imho, that was all the players, and occurred despite coaching.
With the noise around program and Coach Woodson at a fever pitch now, the players will react in one of two ways. I just can’t predict which one. Tonight’s game just another data point to me.
If OSU comes out strong , and gets us down early , I could see this team packing it in leading to another blowout .
Huh? There is no team in the B10 I'd rather play tonight than IU. Beyond Ballo, and maybe Rice, there will be no fire.
