IU #25 in AP poll - NCAA net rank #21

Once again the polls are littered with puzzles.

Zags beat Duke, but are now ranked behind them with the same record.

Furman beat Nova at Nova, have two less losses, but are ranked 6 spots back.

Marquette took a 23 point drumming versus IU and are 4 spots ahead. On the other hand, they just beat Bucky yet they are 5 spots behind them. All have the same records.

Michigan with a 27 point beatdown at ranked Nova and a 17 point whipping of UNC is behind three 1 loss teams.

Who has MSU really beaten to be ranked top 10 with 2 losses at the point?

VaTech has the big win over a 6-4 Purdue team, and a loss versus a 5-4 PSU team... they are ranked 13th because?

Ok, yearly rant on the hypocrisy of the poll voters is over. :)

CBS has them at #25
Coaches poll at #31
NCAA NET rank #21 - this is the one that matters for seeding purposes.

Butler. One game at a time, the rest will take care of itself.
I didn't expect anyone to notice we were 8-2 afyer the Duke loss and I thought we needed to beat the media darling Butler to get the attention of the country.

It is hard for teams to show how good they are early. Teams ranked high in crappy conferences will continue to rise in the polls while the rest beat up on each other. Our Kenpom ranking didn't really change after UL and sits on the edge of #25 and #26. I swear we were #24 before the game and #26 immediately after but eventually passed Butler for #25. It would seem our small winning margins aren't helping our rankings.

We need to keep winning and let the rankings do whatever they want,
