They just played an extremely emotional game, with a near divine looking intervention at the end of the game in their favor. Maybe, just maybe, they are thinking they are a team of destiny just a bit too much. Maybe we can kick that slipper off of ole Cinderella. Or maybe they will shove it up our, well you know. Get Howard back and we might make it a game.
I'm sure with CKW's expert motivation and superior game management, we'll have no problem bouncing back....dws.

You must not have watched MSU this year. Too many injuries to a defense that didn't look that hot in week 1 before everyone went down. Backup at CB, two backup freshmen safeties, an all-american LB with a blown out knee. Throw in below average special teams and an injuried OL and you're looking at a competitive game.
MSU has a very good QB and an elite DL, with some solid players sprinkled around elsewhere -- hardly a typical MSU squad. It won't be a blowout unless Indiana has quit on the season.
Yeah, well, that's just what PSU fans said before the game. Don't blow smoke, even unintentionally, please.
Rutgers, Purdue and Central Michigan all had an opportunity to beat MSU at the end of the game. You can call that blowing smoke if you like.
He described MSU accurately in terms of both players and injuries. Sounds like a knowledgable fan to me.
So did the PSU fans. They mean well be they don't understand us at all. What they say may be true, but it helps us not at all.

OTOH they are getting players bac, at least some key guys.
OTs Kieler and Conklin were back Saturday.
The best TE Price was back as well.
They should get a couple of secondary guys back this weekend. That said, 2 true freshmen are starting for the second week in a row. WHile they played well, they were not going vs a good qb who can throw down field.
Sudfeld will give us trouble. OTOH I figure MSU should score at will.

Dude, get a grip. He's just describing (accurately) his team. I realize because we just lost we will never win another game again, but he's right, I think it will be close (no, I don't think we will win). We at least have our QB back.
