Parked at the church north of the purple lots as suggested here. Worked well. Walking up to the stadium with the lights on and that really light blustery snow hanging in the air was a thing of beauty. Cold but gorgeous night. Wasn't too bad inside either. Great gameday experience--much more engaging than in the past. The alcohol was flowing and people were festive. What an ass beating that game was. Took my family of 5 and it was a memory I'll have forever. Nick's was too packed for us to get in but I've always loved the Trojan Horse and it was great to get back there. I miss so many B-town places-Opie Taylors, Macri's, original Yogi's (met my wife there), Irish Lion, Ladyman's, Cafe Pizzaria, etc.. Opie Taylor's would've hit the spot yesterday. Can't believe all the fancy student apartments that have gone up--not any different than most schools, I know, but Bloomington isn't quite as quaint with it all, IMO. But, on the other hand, Bloomington has a really nice selection of non-fleabag hotels these days. Much, much better than when I was there in the late 90's.

The IU product is well worth the investment from both the university and the fanbase at this point.
